Leaving Norway

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Today I am leaving Norway again, this time for my 7 month internship at Euro Rscg 4d in Amsterdam. Since this is my last day in Norway for a while I would like you to get to know the land I am leaving. I found this clip on youtube and I think it explains my home country very well.

Summer 09

Tuesday, July 21st, 2009

The last few weeks there has been little to blog about but I have had lots to do and been few places with internet connection. But to day I will blog just a bit. My vacation started with a big smile when I got my “tax refund” and my working dates. I was supposed to work the hole summer and earn a lot of money for my first months in Amsterdam, but that suddenly changed. Instead of working I have been driving around in Norway with my family, meeting the rest of my family on both mom and dads side.

Right now I am sitting in my grandmothers chair in Lofoten. Yesterday we went on a bus trip with my uncles bus firm, Arctic bus. The trip was awesome and tasty. We drove from the dock in Stamsund where passangers from Hurtigruta joined the buss. Then we drove to the viking museum in Borg called Lofotr and ate a fantastic meal of lamb from Lofoten. That was absolutely the best meal I have had at least this summer. The mead we got to drink was not that good thug, but fun to taste. Then the bus drove of to Svolvær where the passengers from Hurtigruta went back on Hurtigruta and our bus turned back again to its starting point. It was a great trip with a good guide.

If you click on the link Brønnøysund you can see some of my pictures from my dads side of the family. Its few family pictures and more of the nature and a story (in norwegian) about the famous mountain Torghatten. I also have a few pictures on my flicr account.

Stealing berries

Sunday, July 5th, 2009

Today I went to my aunt Anita in Oslo. Together we went over to a garden house at Kalbaken (in Oslo). While we where there we found this tree full of berries, and we started robbing the tree. Mmm the berries was so good! fortunately no one saw us. The garden house also had a parrot named Pelle, it was awesome. And I got a pair of home made socks from my aunt. Now I’m of to another aunt to see what she is up to tonight.

This is how I like my flight crew

Saturday, July 4th, 2009

Found this awesome flight safety instructions video. Yes, I am one of those who always follows the safety instructions on the plain. Now matter if I walked of a plain just two minutes before the next one is boarded, I follow them… But this one caught my attention even more! and i’t will probably catch the attention of many of those who don’t listen as closely as me to the safety instructions.. Why? Cuss the crew is naked. Got to love that.
