Really cool, interesting and nicely made commercial for Tipp-Ex.

Finally I have joined the iPhone club and want to make a short post (after 24hours of play time) about my favorite apps.

1. Spotify
One of the first thing I got on my phone was Spotify, it feels expensive, but it is legal and it supports the artists more than what piratebay does. The 3g network is also good enough for me to listen to online songs while driving. So far there has been no lagging during songs but some tiny bit longer pauses between songs.

2. Hipstamatic and Polarize
These are two cool photo apps that lets you take old looking photos. hipstamatic is very cheap and got more options than polarize witch is free and only make your photos look like Polaroids. For hipstamatic you can buy several extras, but I haven’t.

3. Ping!
A free sms app for sending free text messages to your iphone friends.

4. Wi-Fi finder
For when you need to find a wifi connection. it shows both free and paid wifi connections on a map and lets you see if it is free or not.

5. Wordpress
There is also a WP app, I am not used to the iphone keybord yet so I am writing this post with my computer, but I have browsed through the app and I like it.

6. Ancient War
Ancient War is a game that I used to play a lot on my old ipod. It’s very simplistic, but fun. It is very similar to the stick man game “Champion Archer”.

and of course I like the standards: Facebook, Twitter and Skype. But I don’t like MSN mobile, its to.. I don’t know, boring and time consuming.

“Such tragedy could have been easily avoided!”

A week ago my parents bought a new boat so this weekend I had to go and visit them at the camping to check out the boat.

For the last 10 years my parents have had a camping vagon at Daftö Camping in Sweden. It is a five star camping park and one of the best in Europe. They have several docks, swiming pool with heated water, slide to the ocean, beach, mini golf and a few other treasuers of good quality. The food there on the other hand is shit, so if you go there, BYOS.

Anyways, on Sunday we took the boat out for a ride, it went a whole lot faster then the old one.

Here is me chillin in the back of the boat, almost no wind or water on me.

After a little while we saw a boat stuck on a rock in the water. Some one didn’t follow the map’s! If you are planning on taking you’re boat out on a ride in the Daftö/Strömstad area, make sure you follow the maps and look closely for underwater rocks. There are a lot of them and not all are marked.

And I just had to sit on the front of the boat for a while. My dad took the boat out to some more open water with small waves and hit the gass….. I got sooo weat I had to change clothes.

One week ago I took a flight to Rimini, Italy with my family and arrived at the Hotel around 22.00 to a dark and hot summer night called LA NOTTE ROSA (The pink summer new years eve in Italy). The hotel, Villa Adriatica, looked great and the staff was very service minded. After unpacking my bags I went down the main tourist street. It was a total tourist street. On the right side there was a five (European) miles long street of souvenir shops, on the left side there was a five miles long street of hotels and then the nice part; behind the hotel’s there was a five miles long beach with clear water and white sand.

During my trip I swam either in the beach or in the hotel pool almost every day, I went to Riccione, Frasassi, Venice and San Marino.

When going to Riccione we took the public bus outside the hotel towards Riccione. The bus was packed with people. It was so full that we had to let the first one pas. We could not squeeze on it. In Riccione there was a few nice stores. Not a lot, but the ones that where there was nice. In comparison to Rimini they had much more tasty food there.

Frasassi was one of the most overwhelming experiences I got in Italy and I would recommend anyone to go there. Frasassi is the biggest cave in Italy and was not found before 1971. The cave has been open to the public since 1974 and today they have made a “fake” entrance for tourists. The fake entrance is the one they use for the easy tours in the cave. If you are going on the easy trip you don’t need to worry about good shoes or anything. It is layd up to be a easy trip, they have made bridges and stairs so there is no rock climbing. Me and my brother took the easy tour and where amazed by the beauty of the huge cave. If I visit the area again I will definitely go for one of the harder routes where you climb, go through narrow passages and so on to experience the cave on my body. It was not allowed to take any pictures inside the cave so I had to hide my camera and the pictures did not come out so great. So I have a stolen picture from flicker illustrating the caves:

Wednesday was our planned family trip to Venice were we went with the gondolas through the canals of Venice. For me most of the day went by looking at all the masks in the stores and the amazing glass art. Of course I bought a mask for my self, a original hand made in Italy without any toxic material so I can wear it as much as I want. They had masks in all price classes, the cheapest ones where of course the fake ones made in china, but some of the more expensive ones had Swarovski crystals on them and some of them where to pretty to look at.
In Venice I also got to see a guy selling fake bags crossing a big open space, then, when he was on the other side another guy with fake bags crossed the area. Then one more, two more and sudenly they started running and twenty more came around the corner with the police right behind them. It was so fun to look at, and by the look of their faces I think the bag sellers and police enjoyed playing cat and mouse.

The Republic of San Marino. A country that the legend says was founded when Marin who moved to Rimini and became a part of the Christian community. At the time when he moved there, Christianity was not accepted and Christians where killed because of their religion. When it was made public that Marin was Christian he and several Christians looked for the highest mountain in the area to settle down on so that he wouldn’t be killed for his religion. He soon became accepted as the leader of the group and San Marino became a Republic that no one could take down. They built three fortress on the top of the mountain, making it impossible for anyone to fight them. San Marino has never started a was them selfs, but have won a few by using crossbows from the forests.
When I was in San Marino I visited a nice little alchole shop called System Bolaget, it was owned by a guy from San Marino who new Swedish. A funny little store. I also went into a lot of the shops and visited one of the fortress. The view was amazing from the fortress I visited and I could really understand why they where never defeated.

Since Italy is so known for its pasta meals I figured I have to give one food recommendation; My favorite meal in Italy was ravioli filled with mozzarella in tomato sauce. I have to see if I find a store at home that sell mozzarella filled ravioli because that was damed tasty.
